A fellow passenger offended me in the bus so I'm going to stop taking buses...

A fellow patient offended me in the hospital so I'll stop going to the hospital when I'm not feeling well...
If you think my conclusions in any of the scenarios above are faulty, why is it okay to stop going to church because a church member hurt you?

If necessary, please change churches. As painful as it may be when a trusted church member/leader hurts you, it isn't a good enough reason to abandon the faith.
Put whatever measures you need to put in place to avoid being hurt over and over again but it's best not to lose your faith because of that.
